Poultry

Birds drink roughly twice as much water as they eat feed, so drinking water quality affects everything from gut health to growth. Nanobubble technology raises the oxygen in drinking water and helps keep the water lines clean.

~4×dissolved oxygen in drinking water with a nanobubble system
37.3%birds free of hock burn, versus 12.3% on tap water
+2.6%thigh yield in the same broiler trial
Where it is used
  • Commercial broiler farms in Eastern England
  • Research trials at Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC)
  • Layer and broiler sheds with nipple drinker lines
How it works here

Biofilm builds up inside drinker lines and harbours bacteria. Nano bubbles help lift it away from pipe walls.

Oxygen-rich water is fresher and more palatable, which supports steady water intake on hot days.

The system sits on the main water line, so no change in daily management is needed.

Using Oxynity

How we set it up for poultry

  1. Install the generator on the header tank feeding the drinker lines
  2. Run on air; oxygen is optional
  3. Flush lines once after installation to clear loosened biofilm
  4. Ask us about sizing for your shed and number of birds

Good to know: Poultry evidence is newer and comes mostly from UK trials; growth and FCR figures from large commercial flocks are still being published.
